This is a photo of us shooting the scene:

  • Make sure team morale is not low, everyone works better happy than miserable
  • Make sure everyone in on the team knows what they're doing their job and are comfortable in their position
  • Be much more assertive and make sure everyone listens and is focussed on the task at hand
  • Make sure there is communication between everyone in the team. Make sure everyone talks to each other and are aware of what they're doing.
  • Make sure AD is doing his job and communicating with all team members.
  • Be as loud as necessary, make sure everyone is paying attention to what I'm saying.
  • Use time as wisely as possible. We're using two cameras to make sure shots are done from various angles without need of constantly moving and setting up one camera
HOW THE SFX WAS MADE
- We have applied the glue on which the wax was being applied. We applied the glue so that the wax
putty would not move around.

- Then we applied the putty wax on the glue the wax adhered to the glue instantly which meant that we
had to work fast so that the wax would not dry out to fast because then the wax putty would be harder
to sculpt on and cut into.

- Then we started to form the putty around the finger and I tried to blend it in so that it looks like the
finger but inflated. This took some time but then it looks realistic and believable. This took a lot of
time about 20-30 minutes but everyone was happy with the end result.

- Then we applied white powder which dries out the skin of the wax putty and makes it easier to blend
with the make-up which is the right skin tone is added makes it look way more realistic.

- Following the makeup stage, I cut into the wax putty so that I could simulate the fake cut on the finger.

- Following the cutting, we added in the lumps of jelly blood into the cut so that it looks like the blood
has instantly appeared due to the deep cut made into the finger.

- I used a sponge to apply blood around the cut and I used the dabbing technique.

- Then we painted in the blood running down the finger using cream makeup. And for last I used a
brush to dab on the jelly blood around the custom-made wound so that it looks more realistic.
